"I imagine painting as both a mental and material construct. Painting becomes the collective memory of all gestures, actions, and decisions. Each element, each event has its importance, and the connections established between each actor create living and moving worlds—an invitation on a journey."

Natural talent in drawing from a young age led Minh-Quan DUONG, born in Vietnam and raised in France, to study Plastic Arts and earn a painting degree with honors from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Cergy. After an early career in exhibitions, life circumstances interrupted his practice. 

In 2024, he recommitted to art full-time, producing abstract, organic works characterized by openness and dynamism. In May 2025, he held his first solo exhibition at Le Carré d'Art in Serris, France, marking a strong re-entry into the art world.
